Maintenance Electrician - Facility Management

  • Location: Colwick, Nottingham
  • Pay rate: Subject to skill set and experience
  • Pay type: PAYE
  • MUST have right to work in the UK.

The Role

Primarily you ll be responsible for electrical installation, maintenance, and testing in our offices and factories. In addition to this you will support the sites with other general maintenance tasks such as basic plumbing, carpentry etc. We are looking for a hard-working team player who is a good all-rounder not just an electrician. You will work in a fast faced challenging environment and the role will be varied, if you are looking for differing challenges rather than the same mundane tasks this role is for you.

Your role would be to carry out Maintenance electrcian responsibilties working in facility management

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with BS7671 (18th Edition) and company procedures.
  • DB and cable installations, jointing, terminations, testing, and fault finding.
  • Conduct inspection and testing of new and existing installations.
  • Ensure compliance with Electrical Safe Systems of Work (ESSW) and all safety regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with Facilities Manager and other managers around the sites.
  • Compliance checks - Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm, Extinguishers etc.

Key Skills and Experience

  • ECS or CSCS card.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Able to perform basic maintenance tasks, plumbing, carpentry etc to assist with site maintenance.
  • IT literate - Answer emails and able to update IT systems - Job Progress/Completion.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to H&S working practices.
