Class 3 Registered Building Inspector
North London
£600-£650 per day (dependent on experience)
Initial 6-Month Contract
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Class 3 Registered Building Inspector to support a busy Local Authority in North London on an initial 6-month contract.
This is a key role within the team, managing complex and high-risk building projects and ensuring compliance with current Building Regulations and the Building Safety Regulator framework.
The Role
You will be responsible for a varied and technically challenging caseload, including high-rise and complex developments.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and overseeing complex and high-risk building projects
Conducting site inspections in line with BSR requirements
Reviewing and approving detailed plans and specifications
Providing technical guidance to internal teams, developers and stakeholders
Ensuring compliance with current legislation and regulatory standards
This is a contract role requiring strong technical expertise, sound judgement and the ability to operate independently.
About You
To be considered, you must:
Be registered as a Class 3 Building Inspector
Have extensive experience dealing with complex and high-risk buildings
Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Building Safety Act and BSR processes
Be confident liaising with developers, duty holders and senior stakeholders
Have Local Authority experience (preferred)
