Quantity Surveyor

Vivid are currently working with a Local Authority based in Nottinghamshire on a Quantity Surveying role for a 6 month period available immediately. The rate for this role is 350 per day inside IR35.

This role also requires 5 days per week of work and this will be mainly office based (no hybrid working).

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on the capital works program
• Deal with Procurement
• NOT NEC Experience but instead JCT solely
• Cost estimations
• Work on the procurement pipeline.
• Draft written reports, setting out the processes in place, conclusions, solutions and recommendations
• Helping the depot with the repairs and voids

It would be helpful to have Public Sector experience, this role could involve dealing with the likes of major projects like 16m project for kitchens and bathrooms and 8m pound projects on windows and doors. This is solely a residential portfolio.
