Job Description

As Quality Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in maintaining quality standards across multiple live construction sites, ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

This opportunity sits within a leading UK residential developer and operator, specialising in Build to Rent housing and apartment-led communities. The business is focused on delivering high-quality, sustainable new homes designed for long-term living.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting construction works against stage drawings and specifications
  • Measuring and quality checking building materials
  • Identifying defects and working with contractors to resolve issues
  • Monitoring site progress and reporting to internal teams and partners
  • Keeping detailed site records including photographs, measurements, and reports
  • Managing Defects Liability Period inspections and follow-ups
  • Ensuring compliance with building regulations, health & safety, legal and ecological standards
  • Supporting residents during the defects period in a positive and professional manner

About You

To be considered, you will ideally have:

  • Strong knowledge of residential construction from start to finish
  • Proven experience working on new build housing or apartment developments (essential)
  • Experience in quality assurance, clerk of works, site inspection or similar
  • Knowledge of fire stopping details and building compliance
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills
  • A proactive and detail-focused approach
  • Confidence liaising with contractors and multiple internal stakeholders
  • Ability to manage a high volume of work across various projects
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel regularly
