Grounds Maintenance Operatives - Temp to Perm

Location: Heather, LE67
Pay: 14.21 per hour
Start Date: Immediate
Hours: Monday-Thursday (early starts), Friday half day

Barker Ross is recruiting Grounds Maintenance Operatives on behalf of our client, offering a great temp-to-perm opportunity for reliable and experienced candidates.



The Role

You will be working across commercial and public sites throughout the Midlands, covering areas from Northampton to Sheffield. This is a hands-on, outdoor role suited to individuals who enjoy physical work and early starts.



Key Duties

  • Operating mowers, strimmers, hedge trimmers, and blowers

  • Grass cutting, hedge trimming, pruning, and general grounds maintenance

  • Loading, using, and maintaining equipment safely

  • Travelling as part of a mobile team



Requirements

  • Previous grounds maintenance or landscaping experience

  • Confident using maintenance machinery

  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking

  • Comfortable with early starts and varied locations

  • Full UK driving licence essential
