Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day site operations across SSE projects, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of works.

Operate under CAT3 Authorisation, taking responsibility for site safety, control of works, and compliance within SSE network requirements.

Ensure all works comply with SSE standards, CDM 2015, HSG47, and relevant industry regulations.

Coordinate civil and/or electrical installation activities including ducting, trenching, reinstatement, substations, cabling, joint bays, and associated infrastructure.

Lead site teams and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to RAMS, permit systems, and quality standards.

Conduct site briefings, toolbox talks, and daily activity coordination meetings.

Monitor programme, resources, and productivity to meet project milestones.

Liaise with SSE representatives, Project Managers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure collaborative delivery.

Manage inspections, audits, and documentation including ITPs, permits, and as-built records.

Identify and mitigate risks in live operational environments.
