A well-established and growing M&E contractor specialising in large-scale mechanical and electrical packages across residential and commercial developments is looking to appoint an Assistant Mechanical Estimator to join their expanding pre-construction team.
With a strong order book and secured pipeline of work, this is an excellent opportunity for someone with a few years experience to develop within a stable, forward-thinking business.

The Role:

• Assisting in the preparation of detailed mechanical estimates and cost plans
• Reviewing tender documentation, drawings and specifications
• Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Supporting senior estimators with competitive tender submissions
• Liaising with commercial and operational teams throughout pre-construction

About You:

• 2 5 years experience within mechanical estimating or building services
• Experience pricing residential and/or commercial projects
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, public health)
• Organised, commercially aware and motivated to progress
