Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily site activities across SSE projects, ensuring works are delivered safely and efficiently.

Operate under CAT3 Authorisation, maintaining control of works in accordance with SSE safety rules and procedures.

Ensure full compliance with RAMS, permits, and safe systems of work.

Oversee civil works (ducting, trenching, reinstatement, joint bays, substations, concrete bases) and/or electrical works (cable installation, terminations, plant installation) depending on bias.

Monitor subcontractors and operatives to ensure quality standards and productivity targets are achieved.

Deliver toolbox talks, daily briefings, and safety stand-downs as required.

Conduct site inspections, audits, and quality checks in line with ITPs.

Maintain accurate site records including diaries, progress updates, and permit documentation.

Identify hazards and implement corrective actions in live operational environments.

Liaise with Site Manager, SSE representatives, and other stakeholders to coordinate works.
