About the Role To provide Quantity Surveying support across a range of projects delivered from our Humber office, ensuring robust cost management, contract administration, and commercial governance. As a Quantity Surveyor, you would be responsible for supporting the Commercial and Project Management teams in delivering effective Contract Management and maintaining relationships with Clients, Contractors/Subcontractors, Suppliers or Service Providers for the relevant contracts. Key Responsibilities: A high emphasis on change management Support cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting activities across a variety of utilities / infrastructure projects. Administer contracts (typically NEC3/4 with a number of bespoke client contracts) including change control, payment applications, and final accounts. Support procurement and tendering processes with accurate cost data and commercial input. Monitor and report on project financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities. Engage with project teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure commercial alignment. Contribute to continuous improvement and lessons learned in cost and contract management. Here's What You'll Need Degree level qualification in relevant discipline or equivalent experience in commercial /contract management Some previous Quantity Surveying or Commercial Contract Management work experience. Working knowledge of Construction Contracts, ideally with some exposure to the NEC suite of contracts. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Ability to communicate confidently and work well under pressure Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Must be proficient in MS Office applications - especially MS Excel. What You'll Need To be considered for this Highways Quantity Surveyor position, you will have: Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the highways sector.
