Estates Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Estates Surveyor on a long-term contract -8 months +. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a varied commercial property portfolio and delivering professional surveying services across rent reviews, valuations, landlord and tenant matters, and estate management.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of assets and to play a key role in maximising value and performance for our property interests.

Duties include-

• Undertake rent reviews and lease renewals across a commercial portfolio
• Prepare commercial property valuations for a range of purposes
• Provide landlord and tenant advice, including negotiations, asset management strategies, and dispute resolution
• Manage day-to-day estate management activities, including service charges, inspections, and compliance
• Liaise with tenants, agents, legal advisers, and other stakeholders
• Prepare reports, recommendations, and property strategies for internal and external clients
• Ensure all activities are carried out in line with professional standards and best practice

Candidates should have the following ideally

• MRICS, AssocRICS, working towards RICS qualification or equivalent experience
• Degree in a relevant discipline
• Proven experience in commercial property surveying
• Strong knowledge of rent reviews, valuations, and landlord and tenant matters
• Experience of estate management and managing multi-let commercial properties
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and report-writing skills
• Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
