Job Title: Site Manager Groundworks, Steel Frame & Cladding
Location: Grantham, Lincolnshire
Rate: 280 Daily
Type: Contract
Start Date: 19th January 2026

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a project in Grantham, with a strong focus on groundworks, steel frame construction, and cladding. You will take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all site activities from start to completion;
• Oversee groundworks, steel frame fabrication, and cladding packages;
• Coordinate subcontractors, labour, and materials;
• Ensure strict compliance with health & safety regulations;
• Maintain programme schedules and manage site logistics;
• Conduct site meetings and report progress to the project team;
• Ensure quality control and resolve technical issues as they arise.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on groundworks
• Working knowledge and experience with steel frame fabrication and cladding projects is desirable (not essential);
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and site coordination;
• SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certificates;
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills;
• Ability to manage fast-paced construction programmes.
