A respected social housing group is seeking an experienced Disrepair Surveyor for a temporary contract based in Nottingham, initially for 612 months.

The Disrepair Surveyor role offers the chance to work on complex housing matters, providing expert technical input on legal disrepair cases while working within a professional and supportive environment.
As a Disrepair Surveyor, you will be:
- Producing detailed Section 11 and Section 82 reports in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Inspecting residential properties to assess disrepair issues and housing conditions.
- Providing technical advice to legal, housing, and repairs teams.
- Preparing schedules of works and contributing to case management.
- Supporting the resolution of disrepair claims within agreed timescales.
We'd love to speak to anyone who has:
- Proven experience working as a Disrepair Surveyor within social housing.
- Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation, particularly Section 11 and Section 82.
- Experience producing reports for legal proceedings and court-related matters.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage a varied caseload independently.
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications in Building Surveying, Construction, or a related discipline like a HNC or HND
