We are currently recruiting for a permanent Site Manager to join a well-established contractor delivering social housing refurbishment and decarbonisation projects across Yeovil and the surrounding areas . The Role As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of social housing refurbishment sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. The works focus on renewable energy and retrofit improvements within occupied, tenanted properties. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day running of multiple social housing sites. Coordinate subcontractors and site operatives. Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to programme. Carry out site inspections and maintain quality standards. Produce and manage RAMS, toolbox talks, and Health & Safety documentation. Liaise with clients, residents, and internal teams to ensure excellent project delivery. Requirements SMSTS qualification. Valid First Aid certificate. Previous experience managing construction sites and subcontractors. Strong technical building knowledge. Experience managing multiple trades on site. Good understanding of Health & Safety, RAMS, and toolbox talks. Experience within social housing maintenance is desirable. Experience delivering decarbonisation or retrofit projects, including External Wall Insulation (EWI), Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP), and Solar PV installations is advantageous.
