We are looking for a Temporary Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team and help maintain outdoor spaces across East London. This is a full-time role (35 hours per week), working from allocated sites with occasional office attendance.

About the Role As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will play a vital role in keeping our outdoor environments tidy, safe, and enjoyable. Your day-to-day work will include:
- Mowing, lawn care and planting
- Pruning, hedge cutting and seasonal upkeep
- Weeding, border maintenance and general landscaping
- Operating horticultural machinery (mowers, hedge cutters, strimmers, blowers)
- Undertaking pesticide application (PA1 & PA6)
- Working effectively as part of a team
- Previous horticultural experience
- Strong plant knowledge
- Ability to prioritise tasks throughout the seasons
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- IT literacy
- Full driving licence
- Someone who enjoys practical outdoor work
