Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Major Residential Development, London
Salary: up to 55,000

We're working with a well-established London developer delivering a significant multi-phase residential scheme, and they're looking to bring an Assistant Quantity Surveyor into their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop their skills on a complex, high-value project while working closely with experienced senior staff.

You'll be supporting the site-based commercial team on day-to-day cost management, procurement tasks and subcontractor administration, with clear progression opportunities as the project moves through key stages. The environment is fast-moving but supportive, ideal for someone who's looking to take real ownership of their work and progress confidently toward a Project QS role.

What you'll be involved in:

• Assisting with tendering and procurement across a range of packages
• Preparing and reviewing subcontractor payments, variations and documentation
• Supporting cost reporting, budgeting and commercial analysis
• Liaising with site teams, design teams and suppliers to maintain clear communication
• Providing administrative and commercial support to the Project QS and Commercial Manager

We're seeking someone with experience in quantity surveying from a similar site role and a genuine desire to develop within a recognised, hands-on team.
