Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks using MIG, TIG, and flux-core techniques.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and schematics.
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal components to specification.
- Work with a variety of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and duplex.
- Maintain quality standards and adhere to safety procedures.
- Be flexible to work overtime when required.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication (ideally 8+ years).
- Ability to weld to recognised industry standards.
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes and materials.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
- Time-served or equivalent vocational qualification in welding/fabrication.
- Current coding in MIG, TIG, and flux-core welding preferred.
- Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements.
Working Hours & Pay:
- Standard 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with regular overtime opportunities.
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
