Site Manager

Location: North East England (Specific site locations will vary)

Contract: Temporary (3-6 months) leading to Permanent

Salary/Rate: £270-£300 per day CIS (dependent on experience and qualifications)

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Site Manager to join us on a temp-to-perm basis. This role is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your capabilities and quickly secure a long-term career. You must have experience in civils engineering and housing civils.

• Operational Management: Oversee all site activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
• Health & Safety: Maintain the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance, conducting regular safety briefings and risk assessments.
• Team Leadership: Manage and motivate site staff, subcontractors, and trade teams.
• Programme Delivery: Drive the project programme, effectively managing resources and resolving any on-site issues to meet deadlines.
• Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure a high standard of finish.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, surveyors, and other key stakeholders.

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on relevant construction projects (e.g., civils, residential, industrial).
• Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
• Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
• Valid First Aid at Work certificate.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, and relevant building regulations.
