Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Assistant Project Manager to join a growing construction and demolition organisation operating nationally across earthworks, civils, plant, aggregates and complex technical projects.
This role is ideal for someone looking to develop into a full Project Manager position, gaining exposure to programming, reporting, planning, site coordination and client liaison. You will work closely with senior project managers on a wide variety of challenging projects, including major demolition works, earthmoving and civils packages.
Key Responsibilities
Project Support
Assist Project Managers in planning, programming and coordinating works.
Support the production of progress reports, schedules and documentation.
Help track project performance, identifying delays, risks and opportunities.
Site Coordination
Support site teams with logistics, health & safety compliance and daily coordination.
Gather site information to feed into project reviews and planning.
Liaise with supervisors, subcontractors and engineers to ensure smooth delivery.
Documentation & Compliance
Assist with maintaining accurate project records, reports and quality documentation.
Support adherence to H&S, environmental and industry standards.
Contribute to audits, inspections and compliance checks when required.
Communication & Stakeholder Liaison
Help maintain clear communication between project teams, clients and internal departments.
Support client meetings, briefings and progress updates.
Work collaboratively across commercial, technical and operational teams.
Professional Development
Gain exposure to full lifecycle project management including planning, cost control, procurement and handover.
Take part in training and development to progress into a Project Manager role.
