Telehandler

We are seeking an experienced and fully certified telehandler driver for a temporary holiday cover role on a busy new build housing site in South Queensferry. This is a crucial position to ensure materials are moved efficiently during the cover period.

• Safely operating the Telehandler on site, transporting and positioning materials (e.g., roof trusses, bricks, timber) to designated working areas.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles promptly and securely.
• Conducting mandatory daily pre-start safety checks on the machine and accurately reporting any defects.
• Working closely with the Site Management and various trade teams across the development.
• Strictly adhering to all site Health & Safety regulations and lifting procedures.

• A valid CPCS or NPORS telehandler certification is mandatory.
• Proven experience operating a telescopic handler, ideally on a busy residential construction site.
• Strong knowledge of safe working practices, including load stability and signalling.
• Reliability, punctuality, and excellent communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Must have your own suitable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
