An exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Carpenter to join a dedicated maintenance and refurbishment team. This permanent role is ideal for someone seeking to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.
The position involves carrying out responsive and routine repairs, as well as void property works across a variety of buildings, including social housing, schools, offices, heritage sites, and public facilities. The successful candidate will ensure all work is completed to a high standard, following health and safety procedures and company quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake a wide range of carpentry repairs in occupied and empty properties.
Carry out first and second fix carpentry, kitchen installations, door fitting, tiling, and vinyl flooring.
Perform general maintenance tasks and non-licensed asbestos removal (training provided).
Deliver high-quality workmanship, maintain excellent customer service, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications & Experience
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry (or equivalent).
Full UK Driving Licence.
DBS check required prior to starting.
Previous experience in social housing or building maintenance is preferred.
