Carpenter

An exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Carpenter to join a dedicated maintenance and refurbishment team. This permanent role is ideal for someone seeking to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.

The position involves carrying out responsive and routine repairs, as well as void property works across a variety of buildings, including social housing, schools, offices, heritage sites, and public facilities. The successful candidate will ensure all work is completed to a high standard, following health and safety procedures and company quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake a wide range of carpentry repairs in occupied and empty properties.

• Carry out first and second fix carpentry, kitchen installations, door fitting, tiling, and vinyl flooring.

• Perform general maintenance tasks and non-licensed asbestos removal (training provided).

• Deliver high-quality workmanship, maintain excellent customer service, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry (or equivalent).

• Full UK Driving Licence.

• DBS check required prior to starting.

• Previous experience in social housing or building maintenance is preferred.
