We are representing a highly regarded main contractor specialising in the delivery of complex, design-led private residential projects. Known for their meticulous attention to detail, bespoke craftsmanship and seamless delivery, they operate within the prime and super-prime sector, partnering with private clients, leading architects and design teams to bring exceptional one-off homes to life.

The Role:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial ownership of multiple high-end residential projects, typically ranging between £5m £10m+ in value. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial control, cost accuracy, and commercial success from tender through to final account. This is a key appointment offering autonomy, responsibility, and clear progression within a design-focused and growing contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the commercial delivery of complex, high-value private residential projects
• Manage cost planning, procurement, valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Provide accurate forecasting and reporting to senior management and clients
• Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure best value and terms
• Support pre-construction, tenders, and procurement strategies
• Work collaboratively with project and site teams to maintain budgetary control
• Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
• Mentor and support junior members of the commercial team

About You:

• Experienced, Hands-on Quantity Surveyor with a background in high-end or super-prime residential construction (preferred)
• Strong commercial acumen and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple complex projects
• Passionate about quality, detail, and excellence in delivery
• Confident working with architects, designers, and discerning private clients
