Job Description

Ref: PCPTJ
Location: Newcastle (NE38)
Hours: Monday to Friday 9.30am 6pm
Pay: £20.00ph paid weekly via umbrella
Duration: Ongoing Contract Long Term

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all day-to-day planned preventative maintenance are completed in line with our contractual obligations.
  • Ensure all plant and equipment are maintained in accordance with the O&M manuals, best practice and relevant guidelines/legislation.
  • Assist in supervising subcontractors and monitor SSOW, policies and procedures.
  • Respond to all reactive calls in line with our contractual time scales, complete job sheets, reports and documentation as required.
  • Work safely at all times in accordance with SSOW, policies and procedures.
  • Professional approach and image must be adhered to at all times.
  • Keep all plant/rooms / services enclosures clean, tidy safe and secure.
  • Undertake any ad-hoc duties that may be necessary during the course of your working shift.

Qualifications
  • Completion of a recognized engineering apprenticeship.
  • A suitable City & Guilds, BTEC, NVQ 3 or equivalent.
  • 3 years post apprenticeship experience preferably in an office environment.
  • The post holder will have an obligation to undertake where necessary training to ensure the level of competency is up held.
  • Previous experience of mechanical and or multi-disciplined maintenance, including DHW, LTHW, and Ventilation Systems.
  • Must have experience and competence in relevant Health & Safety legislation.
