Electrician

A great opportunity has arisen for an Electrician to join a Social Housing contractor based in Bedford on a temporary ongoing basis paying 24.60 per hour CIS. The successful candidate will be available within short notice and have social housing experience. You must have a driving license as you will be supplied with a company van and a basic DBS check will be required.

Working Hours: 8:00am - 17:00pm

42.5 hours per week Mon-Fri with a half hour break.

Pay Rates:

• 24.60 per hour (CIS or Umbrella)

You will be required to:

• Carry out repairs and maintenance within social housing properties, voids and occupied
• Carry out electrical repairs EICRs and complete NICEIC Certificates
• Ensure works are completed at a high standard within given time frames
• Carry out works allocated by appointments

Qualifications:

• City & Guilds and or/ equivalent e.g NVQ level 3 electrical installations
• BS 7617: 18th Edition
• 2391 testing and inspecting

• A company van and fuel card
