Housing Officer

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Housing Officer to join our team and deliver exceptional housing management services across Cheshire. You will play a key role in supporting tenants, managing properties, and ensuring compliance with housing regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of properties, ensuring tenancy agreements are upheld.
• Provide advice and support to tenants on housing-related issues.
• Conduct property inspections and address maintenance concerns promptly.
• Handle rent collection, arrears management, and tenancy enforcement.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and housing legislation.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in housing management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of housing legislation and tenancy agreements.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and work under pressure.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential).
