As their portfolio continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Property Manager to join our team and develop a career in residential property management.

The Role

As a Trainee Property Manager, you will support the wider property management team in ensuring the smooth running of our residential portfolio. This is a hands-on role where you will learn all aspects of property management, including compliance, maintenance coordination, inspections, and customer service.

Full training will be provided, with the opportunity to progress into a more senior role.

Key Responsibilities

Under supervision and with training, you will:

  • Assist with Maintenance Coordination: Help log maintenance issues, liaise with contractors, and update tenants and landlords.
  • Support Compliance Checks: Learn to schedule and monitor safety certificates and ensure records are up to date.
  • Attend Property Visits: Join experienced managers on routine inspections and learn how to record findings and arrange follow-up actions.
  • Help with Check-Outs: Support the end-of-tenancy process, including inspections and deposit handling.
  • Monitor Rent Payments: Assist in tracking rent payments and communicating with tenants regarding arrears.
  • Process Invoices: Help verify contractor invoices and ensure accurate records.
  • Learn Legal Requirements: Understand Right to Rent checks and other legal obligations.
  • Manage Keys & Records: Help maintain accurate records of property keys and assist with audits.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic IT skills; familiarity with property software is a plus.
  • Full UK driving licence
