Our client is looking for a qualified Chartered Surveyor to support the delivery of property valuations and disposals for a public sector property portfolio.
This role is crucial for managing capital receipts, preparing valuation reports, negotiating property transactions, and ensuring compliance with various standards and regulations.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Conduct valuations of operational and non-operational assets in accordance with IFRS, CIPFA, and RICS standards.
- Lead negotiations for property disposals and acquisitions, ensuring optimal outcomes.
- Prepare detailed marketing briefs and reports for committees.
- Work closely with legal teams and stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
- Interpret technical reports and manage complex property-related documentation.
- Ensure all activities comply with health and safety and risk management procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must hold MRICS qualification and be a RICS Registered Valuer (or eligible).
- Proven experience in property valuation, negotiation, and report writing.
- In-depth knowledge of property legislation, market dynamics, and valuation standards.
- Strong communication, time management, and analytical skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
