are seeking a qualified and experienced Handy person/Multi Trade Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general maintenance and repair work, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and uphold the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and workmanship.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine and scheduled maintenance tasks
Perform repairs involving carpentry, drywall, painting, light plumbing, and electrical work
Install, maintain, or repair fixtures, appliances, and basic structural elements
Inspect properties for potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions
Ensure all work complies with relevant safety regulations and building codes
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
Interact with clients and staff in a courteous and professional manner
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a handyman, maintenance, or general repair role
Proficiency in the safe use of tools and equipment required for repair and maintenance work
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and work orders
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ownership of basic tools necessary to complete assigned work
Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labour as required
