Job Title: Banksman / Traffic Marshall

Location: Bromsgrove Central, Birmingham

Duration: 3-4 Month Project

Start Date: 3rd November

Hours: 08:00am - 6:00pm, Monday to Friday

Rate: £17.00 p/h

Job Overview:

Time Recruitment Solutions are currently working with a well established fit out company who due to a new project are seeking a reliable and experienced Banksman / Traffic Marshall to support a construction project in Bromsgrove Central. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing vehicle movements on-site, ensuring the safety of pedestrians and workers, and maintaining clear communication with drivers and site personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and control the movement of vehicles and plant on site.
• Ensure safe access and egress for deliveries and site traffic.
• Communicate effectively with drivers and site operatives.
• Monitor and manage pedestrian routes and safety zones.
• Maintain clear and safe working areas.
• Report any safety concerns or incidents to the Site Manager.
• Assist with general site duties as required.

Requirements:

• Valid Traffic Marshall / Banksman certification.
• CSCS card (preferred but not always essential).
• Previous experience in a similar role on construction sites.
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain alert and focused in a busy environment.
