Senior Design Manager

How would you like to utilise your project management and design management capabilities on complex construction and engineering projects. This is an opportunity to be directly involved with major UK and European data centre projects.

Our Lead Design Consulting team is a global capability, spread across 4 continents, and is in a period of positive and sustainable growth. The remit of this role will be focused on European projects and your ability to project manage the engineering designs for complex data centres will provide you some great challenges. Collaboration will be key.

If you have data centre experience then that will be amazing however we will review all design management experience that demonstrates good knowledge of complex MEP projects, It is likely you will have been an engineer previously so will have in depth experience of the design process with electrical or mechanical design through RIBA stages 2,3 and 4. High level communication and influencing skills are essential and any European languages is a benefit also.

You'll be able to use the experience you have of projects through pre-construction or during the build phases, as a consultancy we are getting more involved in RIBA stages 1 through to 6.

Up to this time the UK teams have supported all of the European projects however with offices now in Frankfurt, Paris and Milan the European growth strategy is underway, this provides fantastic personal development and career progression opportunities for our team members with opportunities to collaborate internally across our offices in UK and other European countries.
