Small Works and Remedial Manager

Location: North East EnglandSalary: £42,500 - £48,000 (dependent on experience)Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Role Overview:

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Small Works and Remedial Manager to oversee and deliver small-scale and remedial projects for an existing client base across the North East of England.

This is a regional role requiring excellent coordination, communication, and technical knowledge within the Fire and Security industry.

You will work closely with the Operations Director and Design Manager, liaising with suppliers, sub-contractors, in-house engineers, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver small works and remedial projects from initial enquiry to completion.
  • Liaise with clients to understand requirements and provide updates throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with internal engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with relevant regulations and company standards.
  • Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or delays, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency across regional works.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the Fire and Security industry.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Experience in managing suppliers, contractors, and engineering teams.
