Site Manager

Our client is seeking a skilled Site Manager to oversee a 12-week freelance project based in Coventry. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proactive approach to site coordination, and experience managing HVAC installations.

Role Overview:

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring health and safety compliance, coordinating trades, and maintaining project timelines. This is a hands-on role requiring excellent communication and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Supervision: Manage all on-site activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to specification.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce site safety standards and ensure all operatives adhere to regulations.
• Coordination: Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers to maintain workflow and resolve issues.
• Reporting: Maintain site records, produce progress reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Quality Control: Monitor workmanship and ensure installations meet required standards, particularly in HVAC systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Certifications Required:
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
  • PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers' and Manufacturers' Association)
• Experience: Proven track record as a Site Manager, ideally with HVAC project experience.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of mechanical systems and construction processes.
• Communication: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Organisation: Ability to manage multiple tasks and keep the site running smoothly.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 12 weeks
• Location: Coventry
• Rate: £270-£300 per day (negotiable and dependant on experience)
