Job Title: Commercial Plumber (Field-Based)

Location: Covering York to Newcastle

Travel: Field-based role with travel across the region

Working Away: Approx. 20% of the year will involve working away from home (accommodation provided)

Vehicle: Company van provided

About the Role:

Time Recruitment are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Plumber to join our field-based team, servicing commercial clients across the region from York up to Newcastle. This is a hands-on role requiring a proactive approach to plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs in a variety of commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems including pipework, fixtures, and fittings
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues efficiently
• Work on planned maintenance and reactive call-outs
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards
• Liaise with clients and site managers professionally
• Maintain accurate records of work completed
• Travel across the designated region and occasionally work away from home (approx. 20% of the year)

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience in commercial plumbing
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• CSCS card (preferred)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required
