Within your new role, you will be required to manage 3 – 4 projects at any one given time, however, each of these projects will be at varying stages of completion. You will report directly to the Commercial Director and overall, you will have responsibility for preparing, managing and controlling all site development costs and budgets.
You must have a wealth of experience in relation to setting up budgets and completing tendering works alongside the placement of orders. Further responsibilities will include regular site visits, completing valuation reports, and the procurement of sub-contractors, goods and materials. Additionally, the ideal candidate must have the ability to build strong interdepartmental relationships and provide support to the commercial department throughout.
In order to succeed within this role, you must have experience working as either a Quantity Surveyor, QS, Surveyor or Commercial Manager in a similar new build housing environment. You must also demonstrate excellent organisational skills alongside being motivated and analytical. Knowledge of the Coins system would be advantageous. The following qualifications are desirable however not necessarily essential - HNC HND or Degree Qualified.
