Description Reporting into the Commercial Director, you will provide strategic commercial leadership across the contract, managing a team of Quantity Surveyors while overseeing all commercial, contractual and financial aspects of service delivery. Commercial Manager Location: High Wycombe (Office-based initially - 5 days per week) Salary: Up to £90,000 + Package The Opportunity Our client, a leading main contractor, is looking to appoint a Commercial Manager to join their established team delivering a long-term MOD housing maintenance contract based in High Wycombe. With five years remaining on the current contract , this is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, high-performing commercial team and play a key role in the successful delivery of a major programme. The client is also open to considering an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor who is ready to step into their first Commercial Manager position and prove themselves. This is a fast-paced commercial role focused on high-volume, low-value works across MOD housing, including voids, reactive maintenance and repairs. Key Responsibilities Manage the commercial aspects of a busy MOD housing maintenance contract. Oversee the commercial delivery of voids, responsive repairs, maintenance and reactive works. Ensure projects remain compliant with MOD standards, contractual obligations and health & safety requirements. Monitor costs, valuations and profitability across multiple concurrent workstreams. Administer contracts, including variations, scope changes, client communications and claims management. My client is looking for an experienced Repairs Officer (Voids Surveyor) in North Northamptopnshire to start ASAP. Please only apply if you have the below experience, Rate - 39.50 per hour via Umbrella Location - North Northamptonshire (office and site based) Duration - 3 months (rolling) Carrying out void surveys for specification, site safety visits, work in progress visits, snagging & post inspections. 5 years experience needed, ideally having worked within social housing previously. Manage property maintenance projects by carrying out surveys, preparing specifications, tender documents, technical reports, and providing professional advice to ensure compliance with health, safety, building, and environmental legislation.
