Currently recruiting for an Architect for an established, chartered architectural practice based in Bury. Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for an Architect to progress within the business with excellent progression opportunities. This opportunity for an Architect requires someone who is able and happy to travel into Bury, rather than working in central Manchester. The successful Architect will be working on a range of projects in a variety of sectors such as MOD, residential, commercial, healthcare and education. The most successful individual will be a strong team player and will have excellent knowledge and experience using AutoCAD. The successful individual will be ARB/RIBA qualified and have at least 1 years' experience post Part III. Our client is seeking a motivated candidate who can work with minimal supervision and become a long term asset to the company. This is an exciting opportunity for an Architect to work in a wide range of sectors and work with a team who pride themselves on high quality design. The Architect will be working alongside the Director and will be expected to hit the ground running. Architect Position Overview Create high quality drawings on a mix of AutoCAD & Sketchup Work on a range of projects in different sectors Consult with other staff, decide the format and scope of design data required for project (drawings, schedules, specification, etc.). Interpret instructions from senior Architectural staff & structural staff regarding technical content of drawings, and legal requirements of the Building Regulations and other statutory bodies Translate standard/proprietary clients details onto working drawings Go on site and liaise with clients Architect Position Requirements ARB/RIBA Qualified Minimum 1 years' experience as an Architect Design flare / technical understanding Proficient in AutoCAD Able to commute into Bury Ambitious and driven individual Architect Position Remuneration Competitive salary (£35,000 - £45,000 DOE) Progression opportunities Pension Holiday Other company benefits to be discussed at interview stage Bennett & Game Recruitment are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
