ASSISTANT BUILDING SURVEYOR/ RESIDENTIAL BASED MIDLANDS/ LEAMINGTON SPA PAYING BETWEEN £30,000 TO £40,000PA Hunter Mason are delighted to work on behalf of a reputable client based in the Midlands. My client are a consultancy firm that are looking to expand their team. They are currently on the lookout for a Clerk of works to join them on a permanent basis working on the residential side of the business, they also cover commercial works too so you may happen to work projects across different sectors. The ideal candidate will be based in the Midlands and be prepared to travel across the UK for works, although the majority of my clients projects are spread over Midlands & London locations. The ideal candidate will secure a salary between £30,000 to £40,000PA dependant on experience. Flexible working can be offered for the right candidate. Ideally you will have experience with; * Inspecting construction work and comparing it with drawings and specifications * Measuring and quality checking building materials * Identifying defects and suggesting ways to correct them * Monitoring progress and reporting to construction managers, architects, and clients * Keeping detailed records of work * Referring to plans and taking photographs of work, along with measurements and samples * Liaising with contractors, engineers, and surveyors * Checking that building regulations, health and safety, legal and ecological requirements are met * Working between an office and construction sites.
