Salary 50k - 60k DOE We work geographically on a national basis refurbishing operational premises for various well know industrial companies. We work direct for the client and not through main contractors. Whilst there is obviously therefore some requirement for travel to visit sites (typically once a week), we do not expect our staff to lodge away from home. Our current portfolio of projects range in value from £2,000 to £850,000. Our typical project would be £15K to £40k. Turnover is between £200k and £350k per month. 90% of our work is refurbishment. We tend to work as a team following the project through from enquiry to final completion. Although our Contract Managers are more involved at the end of the process, on larger jobs they will be part of the project evaluation team from the outset, particularly if the work is for a regular client. Managing all aspects of the contracts from the tender stage all the way through to the completion Monitoring all site activity; organising all site workers, collating risk assessments and carrying out health and safety checks Organising the delivery of all materials that will be needed on site and ensuring they arrive on time Keeping all works moving smoothly and ensuring that project deadlines are adhered to, whilst maintaining project cost plans Liaising with clients and providing reports for the project Attending pre-contract meetings and progress meetings with clients Managing pre-contract planning and liaison with estimators Maintaining good working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation
