Senior Architectural Technologist / Architect

Our client, a growing Architectural practice close to Wakefield, are seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist / Architect to join its expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technologist / Architect to work on a variety of exciting residential projects. The successful Senior Architectural Technologist / Architect should have a few years' relevant working experience as they will be expected to run smaller projects from inception through to completion. They will also have the chance to work on larger scale projects alongside Project Architects. Our client is seeking a Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist / Architect that will develop their career further with this employment opportunity. Proficiency with both Revit & AutoCAD will be advantageous for the successful candidate. Projects that our client covers range from bespoke one off single dwellings to large scale developments with various house builders of around 300 units, as well as some commercial, Mixed-use & Office projects. This will allow the successful Senior Architectural Technologist / Architect to gain experience on different size, value & sectors within the construction industry. Senior Architectural Technologist / Architect Position Overview Preparation of drawings, specifications and construction documents Undertake site visits and complete relevant Contract documentation Candidates should be confident and be able to interact within a team environment Running various residential projects, working across all RIBA stages Produce high quality drawings on a mix of AutoCAD & Revit Work on a variety of residential projects Conduct feasibility studies Liaise with clients & stakeholders Senior Architectural Technologist / Architect Position Requirements Sound knowledge and experience of UK Building Regulations and other Statutory requirements Excellent BIM (Revit) skills and ability to use AutoCAD effectively Relevant technical qualification Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role Live in or around the Wakefield area Hard working & motivated individual Excellent design skills Senior Architectural Technologist / Architect Position Remuneration Competitive salary (£35,000 - £45,000 DOE) Pension scheme Annual salary reviews Support for career progression Flexible working arrangements Bennett & Game Recruitment are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
