Job Description

Commercial Gas Engineer A Hampshire based contractor who have been in the industry for over 4 decades are looking to expand their team by recruiting an experienced mobile commercial gas engineer. Providing quality services for clients in the hotel & leisure, marina, educational and healthcare sectors you will be working within the technical team to carry out pre-planned maintenance, reactive maintenance and domestic installations to full their needs. Day to day tasks will vary as you will be attending different sites and also may be required to work from home on occasions. You will also be required to ideally have the following qualifications: CCN1 - Core domestic national gas safety CEN1 - Domestic central heating boilers COCN1 - Core commercial national gas safety CODNCO1 - Core domestic to core commercial ICPN1 - First fix pipe installations < 75mbar TPCP1A - Test and purge CENWAT - Boilers and water heating appliances CIGA1 - Indirect fired heating appliances CDGA1 - Direct fired heating appliancesThe ability to work unsupervised and also work well within a team is crucial, the ability to communicate well with the end client and go the extra mile to ensure their needs at met is also important. After completely the 3 month qualifying period you will be required to become part of the call out team which is currently 1 week in 8. Re-numeration is £150 per week plus pay at the appropriate rate for any call outs attended.
