Are you an experienced Pipefitter looking for a change or a new role? I have a new role working on a number of large commercial buildings where you will be part of the mechanical team. This opportunity is working for a large company who want someone motivated for their next role and to grow within the company. The ideal person for this will have Heating and Ventilation Level 3. This is a temp to perm position. The Role The maintenance fitter shall carry out a varied range of duties across a busy commercial establishment. The duties and responsibilities will be across the numerous sites within the Establishment. The fitters work on air handling units, BeMS, Medical Gas Piped Systems, pressure systems to include steam and compressed air and general screwed pipework heating systems. Responsibilities Day to day responsibility for responding to issued dockets and for correctly filling in such dockets prior to hand in. Will undertake installation work and repair as required, acting as the competent person mechanical under the mechanical permit system. To undertake all necessary repairs and PPM's of a statutory and non statutory nature and advise the supervisor / chargehand on remedial action required. Conduct fault finding diagnostics on various mechanical and BMS within a healthcare environment where required and pass on such knowledge to others. Will have an understanding of electrical, plumbing and building energy management systems To use all relevant tools and equipment within their specific field ON CALL roster. Required to participate in the 30-minute response system.
