Structural Engineer / Structural Surveyor

Structural Engineer / Structural Surveyor - required for our client to work across the North East region. The Structural Engineer will be working for a company that operate across the UK specialising in Structural Inspections supported with a Structural Design team. The Structural Engineer will be field based providing structural inspections using new digital technology on a range of Residential, Commercial and Historic Buildings. Structural Engineer Position Overview Communicate with sales staff to plan survey delivery Inspection of all types of buildings and structures Preparation of digital reports, live on site Preparation of specifications for remedial works Providing technical support for Buildings Insurance claims Working on subsidence, fire and storm damage Reporting to the Director and providing progress reports Developing new ideas Using the latest software's Structural Engineer Position Requirements Degree within Civil or Structural Engineering Experience of inspection and reporting on structural defects Excellent knowledge of traditional and non-traditional construction Structural Design Experience Buildings Insurance claims experience Working towards chartered status with MIStructE or MICE Full UK driving licence and own car Ability to work alone Structural Engineer Position Remuneration Salary: £45K+.
