Technical Manager

My client a manufacturing company based in Marlow are looking for a Technical Manager to join their team on a permanent basis, Your main duties of this varied role will include; - Producing complex technical drawings in 2D and 3D CAD. - Factory liaison to ensure manufacturing output is compliant with drawings and standards. (This will involve frequent travel to the factory in Cheshire) - Refining and optimising existing designs and coming up with new and innovative ideas. - Complete involvement in the design of our next generation of products. - Ensuring on-going internal compliance on the technical side with ISO9001. The successful applicant will have; - Great interpersonal skills as you will be required to interact with a wide range of people - Excellent working knowledge of either Creo or Solidworks - Knowledge and experience of designing extrusions (an advantage) - A mechanical engineering or material science background (an advantage) - Drive to get the job done - Motivated - Driven These types of opportunities don't come around - so please apply now!
