Experienced Estimating Manager. My client specialises in the supply of natural stone products to the UK Landscape and Construction Industries. This is an exciting and challenging vacancy with great career prospect for the right candidate. We require an Estimating Manager to work within our busy Commercial Division based at Grays in Essex. The main duties will include managing a small team of estimators and ensuring that incoming enquiries are dealt with correctly, effectively and on time. As well as preparing tender submissions and quotations for our extensive customer base of Contractors, Landscapers, Specifiers and Councils. Experience within the Natural Stone industry is preferred and you will be expected to have good relevant product and source knowledge. You will be able to read drawings effectively and understanding of relevant BS standards would be beneficial. The position is mainly office based and requires the candidate to have a good track record in both estimating and closing sales. The successful applicant must be computer literate with a high standard of numeracy and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
