My client, a major MEP player within the London New Build Residential market, is seeking to recruit and train an Electrical Engineer to join their team on a prestigious, high spec development in Woking.
The candidate will assist with supervising the on-site project works, ensuring they are carried out according to the underlying spec, agreed programme of works and to the required standards of workmanship.
This role would suit somebody looking to come off the tools and move into a supervisory or management role.
Responsibilities
Supervise implementation of the project's electrical designs
Ensure all works are completed to technical specification and are compliant with relevant regulations
Assist with site audits and provide regular on-site support to the project's team as required
Assist with plan and allocation of technical resources and coordination of contractors, including the control and issue of materials and equipment.
Complete all necessary corresponding paperwork: RAMS, site diaries, project programmes, snagging lists, O&M documentation etc
Ensure Health & Safety standards are maintained at all times
Attend / minute all necessary internal and external meetings related to the activity undertaken
Provide the team with the specialist skills and knowledge to ensure the works are being carried out in the most efficient manner
Oversee performance of trade contractors and be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed on schedule.
Build relationships with all parties involved in the project and maintain effective team communication and cooperationThis is great opportunity for somebody who wants to progress their career towards Management and would suit somebody with 2-3 years experience as an Electrician working in new build sites

The Role
The maintenance fitter shall carry out a varied range of duties across a busy commercial establishment. The duties and responsibilities will be across the numerous sites within the Establishment. The fitters work on air handling units, BeMS, Medical Gas Piped Systems, pressure systems to include steam and compressed air and general screwed pipework heating systems.
Responsibilities
Day to day responsibility for responding to issued dockets and for correctly filling in such dockets prior to hand in.
Will undertake installation work and repair as required, acting as the competent person mechanical under the mechanical permit system.
To undertake all necessary repairs and PPM's of a statutory and non statutory nature and advise the supervisor / chargehand on remedial action required.
Conduct fault finding diagnostics on various mechanical and BMS within a healthcare environment where required and pass on such knowledge to others.
Will have an understanding of electrical, plumbing and building energy management systems
To use all relevant tools and equipment within their specific field
ON CALL roster.
Required to participate in the 30-minute response system.

Qualifications & Experience:
