Purpose of the role: To project manage planned component replacement programmes across all stock, ensuring robust financial and management information is maintained. Recruit, support and manage a team of Surveyors, allocating and overseeing all works assigned to them, including the planned component replacements, major works and planned maintenance programmes alongside energy efficiency projects. Purpose of the role: To work as part of the Building Services Team on response maintenance work and, when directed, on elements of the planned programme and capital works under the direction of the Building Service Manager. The postholder will lead and direct multi-disciplinary design teams to deliver construction, improvement and refurbishment projects from feasibility to completion. Review work order schedules and ensure the council is receiving quality outcomes and cost-effective services. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as the Council s policies and procedures. Complete on-site safety and quality assurance checks of responsive repairs and void works. Support with contract management duties of third-party contractors to ensure performance is achieved across key variables. Support with complaint investigations by visiting complainants, collating evidence, and providing information in the required timescales.
