You will play an important role in maintaining biomass fuel levels, supporting vehicle movements and ensuring the fuel yard and surrounding areas are kept clean, safe and operational. Key Responsibilities Safely operate Loading Shovel and other mobile plant Manage and maintain biomass fuel levels within the fuel hall Safely manage vehicle movements throughout the fuel yard and weighbridge Complete daily pre-start and safety checks Report any plant defects or issues to the Shift Team Leader Carry out routine plant maintenance, including greasing and cleaning Maintain high housekeeping standards across the plant, fuel yard and weighbridge Empty tipper skips and dust bags as required Take and accurately record fuel samples Refuel site vehicles when required Immediately report defects, damage, near misses and Health & Safety concerns Complete accurate site documentation and records Carry out thorough handovers to the incoming Loading Shovel Driver Work in accordance with all company Health & Safety and environmental procedures About You We are looking for a reliable and experienced Loading Shovel Driver who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of operating safely within a busy industrial environment.
