The company are looking for an experienced CAD Engineer/3D Modeller, the primary role of a CAD engineer is to produce accurate electronic drawings and 3D models to a presentable standard. This will mainly include earthwork volumes and isopachyte drawings but is not limited to these types of drawings.
Responsibilities
• To create accurate 3d earthwork volume drawings to a presentable standard
• To create accurate isopachyte drawings to a presentable standard
• To create terrain models for GPS operated plant
• To interrogate drawings to determine construction depths
• To issue RFIs for any missing information that is required
• To ensure that models/drawings are generated from latest information
• To process survey data and generate as-built drawings in accordance with adoption standards
• To identify any value engineering opportunities
• Ensure workload is planned so that deadlines are met.
• Consolidate and improve technical relationships with clients.
• Ensure management procedures are always complied with.

• Experience in the design of municipal roadway & Bridge projects and/or PPP will be an asset.
• Experience with AutoCAD and highway design software (e.g. InRoads) will be an asset.
• Demonstrated ability as a project manager of multi-disciplinary project teams.
