Working Foreman (Carpentry Bias) The Company Our client is a well-established main contractor specialising in the delivery of high-end residential refurbishment and bespoke fit-out projects across Prime Central London. Their portfolio includes luxury houses, listed buildings, apartments, and complex refurbishment schemes valued from 500k to 2m+. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Carpentry-Based Working Foreman to join the team and oversee the delivery of prestigious residential projects. The Role Reporting to the Site Manager/Project Manager, the Working Foreman will play a key role in managing site operations while maintaining a hands-on approach where required. The successful candidate will come from a strong carpentry background and possess extensive experience delivering high-specification residential refurbishment projects. You will be responsible for coordinating trades, maintaining quality standards, ensuring health and safety compliance, and driving programmes to achieve successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities Coordination of carpentry and finishing trades throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct quality inspections and manage snagging processes. Liaise with Site Managers, Project Managers, clients, consultants, and subcontractors. Assist with material scheduling, deliveries, and logistics. Candidate Requirements Proven experience as a Working Foreman, Finishing Foreman, or Site Foreman. Trade-qualified carpenter with a strong carpentry/joinery background. Strong understanding of luxury finishes and bespoke joinery installations. Experience working within occupied properties and client-facing environments. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Valid CSCS Card. SSSTS or SMSTS preferred.
