Astute's Power Team are currently recruiting for a Site Supervisor to join the Mechanical Sub-Contractor on a new build Waste to Energy facility based in the Midlands on an initial 3 months basis outside of IR35 (strong potential to be extended past the 3 months). The Site Supervisor position comes with a day rate from 350.00 to 400.00 outside of IR35. Role responsibilities and key skills for the role: Supervise and coordinate daily site activities across the steelwork and piping installation packages, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme. Lead and oversee teams of welders, pipefitters and mechanical operatives, allocating work, monitoring productivity and maintaining high quality standards. Ensure all mechanical installation activities are carried out in accordance with engineering drawings, project specifications and applicable industry standards. Coordinate closely with the Project Director, client representatives and other contractors to manage interfaces, resolve technical issues and maintain programme milestones. Conduct daily toolbox talks, safety briefings and site inspections, promoting a strong health, safety and quality culture across the workforce.
