The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Lead Planner to take ownership of the planning strategy and programme management for a major hyperscale data centre development. As Lead Planner, you will be responsible for developing and managing integrated master schedules, driving schedule performance, and ensuring alignment across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities. You will play a key role in providing strategic insight to senior stakeholders, supporting data-driven decision-making in a complex, mission-critical environment Key Responsibilities Develop, manage, and maintain the integrated master programme. Lead schedule coordination across multidisciplinary teams and contractors. Monitor progress, identify risks to programme, and implement mitigation strategies. Provide clear and accurate reporting on schedule performance and forecasts. Support change management and scenario analysis to inform decision-making. Key Requirements Extensive planning experience on large-scale, complex construction projects Advanced expertise in Primavera P6 or equivalent planning software Strong understanding of critical path analysis, risk assessment, and programme controls Experience within data centre or mission-critical environments highly desirable

A world leading construction consultancy is looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Project Planner to join their rapidly growing Project Controls team in Switzerland, on a permanent basis to join an ongoing Hyper Scale Data Centre Project. The Company: The client is a world renowned, multi-discipline construction firm, with their core divisions spanning across Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Centres and the Pharmaceuticals Industry. As the Senior Project Planner within the Design and Construction team, you will be involved in projects from the initial land acquisition, through to feasibility stage and the eventual total build of the data centre. Project Planner Role: Producing construction plans for agreement with client in conjunction with the Project Manager. Fully resource/cost loaded schedule. Maintenance of construction schedule. Track planned versus actual progress. Working with construction team members to capture and log any issues affecting progress. Leading and planning site meetings with relevant stakeholders. Overseeing large CapEx Projects valuing up to (€200m). Project Planner Requirements: Proven record of accomplishment in successfully completing complex capital projects. 5 years+ Project Planning experience in Complex projects across the highly regulated sectors. Must have experience delivering a Data Centre or Pharmaceutical construction project. Highly Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project. Strong problem solving capability, leveraging structure process driven approach to problem solving. German speaking. Willing to relocate to Switzerland. Advantage to have: • Fluent German • German Regulations eg TGA, VOB, VDE / Bundes Gazette • Professional qualifications/ membership/ chartered an advantage. • Data Centres, Distribution, commercial, industrial, plants or similar. • Health and safety regulations relevant for construction work in Germany • Building and Public Procurement Law (DIN 276, HOAI, VOB, VOF). • CAD, technical drawings, MS-Office, ERP • Any of: HVAC/ M&E, Fire protection, Power Distribution, Security • VOB: German Construction Contract and procurement Procedures • VOB/A (DIN 1960) award of construction contracts • VOB/B (DIN 1961) execution of construction work • VOB/C Standards - technical specifications in construction contracts (ATV).
